Before your Newburn delivery arrives

Finished timber is protected and handled with care; tell us if it needs to go inside out of the weather. Newburn is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Keep cement, plaster and boards dry: have a tarpaulin or a garage space ready before they arrive.
• Give us the full postcode for the drop point; deliveries around NE15 are priced to the exact address.
• If the drop point is block paving or soft ground, say so; heavy pallets and bulk bags can mark or sink.

Planed Timber & Mouldings: choosing well

Matching old profiles

Bring an offcut or a clear profile photo with measurements and we will look for the closest current profile.

Softwood or MDF trim?

MDF skirting and architrave is very straight and paints well; softwood takes knocks better and can be stained.

Planed Timber & Mouldings questions

Is there a minimum order for delivery to Newburn?

There is no fixed minimum. For very small orders we will tell you honestly if the delivery cost outweighs the materials, so you can decide.

How should I store planed timber?

Flat, off the ground and inside if possible, so it does not take on moisture and move before fitting.

How soon can planed timber be delivered in Newburn?

We confirm the delivery date when we price your order, before you commit. It depends on the product, the quantity and whether it is a stock line or made to order.

What does PAR mean?

Planed all round: the timber has been machined smooth on all four faces.
