Delivering planed timber in Lichfield

Finished timber is protected and handled with care; tell us if it needs to go inside out of the weather. Lichfield is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Clear a level area for pallets, ideally on boards, so materials stay out of standing water.
• Weight limits on bridges or private roads near the site matter for larger lorries, so mention any you know of.
• Deliveries are to the kerb, drive or within crane reach; ask if materials need to go further.

Before you order planed timber

Softwood or MDF trim?

MDF skirting and architrave is very straight and paints well; softwood takes knocks better and can be stained.

Matching old profiles

Bring an offcut or a clear profile photo with measurements and we will look for the closest current profile.

Planed Timber & Mouldings questions

What does PAR mean?

Planed all round: the timber has been machined smooth on all four faces.

Do you deliver planed timber to trades and homeowners in Lichfield?

Both. Trades can apply for a trade account; homeowners and self-builders can order on a delivered quote.

Can you match an old skirting profile?

We can look for the closest current profile. Exact matches for old or bespoke profiles may need machining to order.

Is there a minimum order for delivery to Lichfield?

There is no fixed minimum. For very small orders we will tell you honestly if the delivery cost outweighs the materials, so you can decide.
