Getting planed timber onto your Havant site

Finished timber is protected and handled with care; tell us if it needs to go inside out of the weather. Havant is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• If the drop point is block paving or soft ground, say so; heavy pallets and bulk bags can mark or sink.
• Tell us the best drop point, such as a driveway, front garden or the kerb, and whether a lorry can park close to it.
• Give us the full postcode for the drop point; deliveries around PO9 are priced to the exact address.

Choosing planed timber

Softwood or MDF trim?

MDF skirting and architrave is very straight and paints well; softwood takes knocks better and can be stained.

Matching old profiles

Bring an offcut or a clear profile photo with measurements and we will look for the closest current profile.

Planed Timber & Mouldings questions

Is there a minimum order for delivery to Havant?

There is no fixed minimum. For very small orders we will tell you honestly if the delivery cost outweighs the materials, so you can decide.

Can you deliver planed timber to a site with restricted access in Havant?

Usually, yes. Tell us about the access when you ask for a price and we will plan the vehicle and offload, or say if a smaller vehicle is needed.

What does PAR mean?

Planed all round: the timber has been machined smooth on all four faces.

How should I store planed timber?

Flat, off the ground and inside if possible, so it does not take on moisture and move before fitting.
