Delivery to Brynmawr: what helps

Sheets come in packs on the lorry bed, crane-lifted or hand-offloaded. Brynmawr is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Clear a level area for pallets, ideally on boards, so materials stay out of standing water.
• Keep cement, plaster and boards dry: have a tarpaulin or a garage space ready before they arrive.
• Mention any overhead cables, low branches or narrow gateways, because they decide whether a crane offload is possible.

Cutting MDF safely

MDF dust is fine; cut with extraction and wear suitable respiratory protection.

OSB or plywood?

OSB3 is usually cheaper and fine for most structural decking in humid conditions. Plywood is stiffer, takes fixings near edges better and performs better where it may get wet.

How much will you need?

Decking 10 m² with 2440 × 1220 mm sheets takes 4 sheets including 10% for cutting. In P5 chipboard flooring (2400 × 600 mm) the same floor takes 8 boards.

What is OSB3?

OSB3 is oriented strand board graded for load-bearing use in humid conditions under BS EN 300. It is the common grade for floors, roofs and sheathing.

Can I add other materials to my Brynmawr delivery?

Yes. Put everything on one list, from OSB, MDF and chipboard to fixings and PPE, and we will price it as one delivery where the products can travel together.

Is MDF waterproof?

No. Moisture-resistant MDF handles humid rooms better than standard MDF but must still be sealed and kept out of direct water.

How soon can OSB, MDF and chipboard be delivered in Brynmawr?

We confirm the delivery date when we price your order, before you commit. It depends on the product, the quantity and whether it is a stock line or made to order.
