Getting mineral wool insulation onto your Enniskillen site

Rolls are compressed and wrapped; they are light but take up space, so tell us if storage is tight. Deliveries to Northern Ireland include a sea crossing, so we quote each order individually.

• On busy streets in Enniskillen, a parking suspension or a quiet time slot can make offloading safer, so tell us about local restrictions you know of.
• If neighbours share the access, it helps to let them know a lorry is coming.
• If the drop point is block paving or soft ground, say so; heavy pallets and bulk bags can mark or sink.

Choosing mineral wool insulation

Keep it ventilated

When insulating a loft, keep eaves vents clear so the roof space stays ventilated.

Glass or stone wool?

Glass wool rolls are light and economical for lofts. Stone wool slabs are denser and often chosen for acoustics and fire stopping.

In Northern Ireland building work follows the Building Regulations (Northern Ireland), with guidance in the Technical Booklets, and applications go to the council's building control team.
