Working in cold weather

Mortar and concrete should not be laid when temperatures are near freezing. Protect fresh work from frost.

Delivery to York: what helps

Bags come on a shrink-wrapped pallet or as part of a mixed load; keep them covered once dropped. York is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• For a phased build we can split the order so materials arrive as each stage starts, which keeps the site clear.
• Weight limits on bridges or private roads near the site matter for larger lorries, so mention any you know of.
