How delivery works in Troon

Bulk bags are usually lifted off by crane where access allows; tell us where they can sit and whether the ground is firm. Troon is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• If the drop point is block paving or soft ground, say so; heavy pallets and bulk bags can mark or sink.
• Pallets left on a pavement can block the footway, so plan a drop point inside your boundary where you can.
• Have someone on site for the delivery if you can, or agree a safe drop point with us in advance.

Yes. Put everything on one list, from ballast and gravel to fixings and PPE, and we will price it as one delivery where the products can travel together.

Is there a minimum order for delivery to Troon?

There is no fixed minimum. For very small orders we will tell you honestly if the delivery cost outweighs the materials, so you can decide.

How much ballast for a cubic metre of concrete?

Roughly 2 to 2.2 tonnes of all-in ballast with about 15 bags of cement at a 1:5 mix. Our concrete calculator works out your slab or footing.

How much gravel do I need for a path?

Multiply the area by the depth (often 40 to 50 mm for decorative gravel) to get cubic metres, then allow about 1.5 tonnes per cubic metre.
