All-in ballast is convenient for general concrete. For more control over the mix, use separate sharp sand and gravel.

Planning the drop in Eastbourne

Bulk bags are usually lifted off by crane where access allows; tell us where they can sit and whether the ground is firm. Eastbourne is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

  • Tell us the best drop point, such as a driveway, front garden or the kerb, and whether a lorry can park close to it.
  • Have someone on site for the delivery if you can, or agree a safe drop point with us in advance.
  • In summer Eastbourne gets around 16h 30m of daylight, but early deliveries still beat the traffic and give the longest working day.
