Before your Colne delivery

  • Give us the full postcode for the drop point; deliveries around BB8 are priced to the exact address.
  • If neighbours share the access, it helps to let them know a lorry is coming.
  • In summer Colne gets around 17h 07m of daylight, but early deliveries still beat the traffic and give the longest working day.
  • Pallets left on a pavement can block the footway, so plan a drop point inside your boundary where you can.

Building control in England

In England, building work is checked against the Approved Documents, for example Part A for structure and Part L for energy efficiency, through your council's building control team or a registered building control approver.

Can you deliver building materials to a site with restricted access in Colne?

Usually, yes. Tell us about the access when you ask for a price and we will plan the vehicle and offload, or say if a smaller vehicle is needed.

Is there a minimum order for delivery to Colne?

There is no fixed minimum. For very small orders we will tell you honestly if the delivery cost outweighs the materials, so you can decide.

Can I add other materials to my Colne delivery?

Yes. Put everything on one list, from building materials to fixings and PPE, and we will price it as one delivery where the products can travel together.

How soon can building materials be delivered in Colne?

We confirm the delivery date when we price your order, before you commit. It depends on the product, the quantity and whether it is a stock line or made to order.
