Before your Stanley delivery

  • Have someone on site for the delivery if you can, or agree a safe drop point with us in advance.
  • Clear a level area for pallets, ideally on boards, so materials stay out of standing water.
  • If the drop point is block paving or soft ground, say so; heavy pallets and bulk bags can mark or sink.
  • Keep cement, plaster and boards dry: have a tarpaulin or a garage space ready before they arrive.

Building control in England

In England, building work is checked against the Approved Documents, for example Part A for structure and Part L for energy efficiency, through your council's building control team or a registered building control approver.

Both. Trades can apply for a trade account; homeowners and self-builders can order on a delivered quote.

Can I add other materials to my Stanley delivery?

Yes. Put everything on one list, from building materials to fixings and PPE, and we will price it as one delivery where the products can travel together.

Can you deliver building materials to a site with restricted access in Stanley?

Usually, yes. Tell us about the access when you ask for a price and we will plan the vehicle and offload, or say if a smaller vehicle is needed.
