Getting adhesives and sealants onto your Wick site

Boxed with the rest of your order. Wick is in an area where deliveries are priced individually because of the distance and access, so we quote each order separately.

• Mention any overhead cables, low branches or narrow gateways, because they decide whether a crane offload is possible.
• Give us the full postcode for the drop point; deliveries around KW1 are priced to the exact address.
• If the site is up a shared drive or behind other houses, tell us the distance from the road.

Before you order adhesives and sealants

Fire-stopping

Ordinary foam is not a fire stop. Where a fire seal is required use a tested fire-rated product and install it as tested.

Ventilation

Some adhesives and foams give off fumes while curing; use them in a ventilated space.

Adhesives, Sealants & Foam in Wick: questions

Can I add other materials to my Wick delivery?

Yes. Put everything on one list, from adhesives and sealants to fixings and PPE, and we will price it as one delivery where the products can travel together.

What sealant for windows?

A low-modulus frame sealant that stays flexible as the frame moves.

Is there a minimum order for delivery to Wick?

There is no fixed minimum. For very small orders we will tell you honestly if the delivery cost outweighs the materials, so you can decide.

How long does silicone take to cure?

Usually skins in minutes and cures over a day or more, depending on thickness and temperature. Check the cartridge.
