How delivery works in Sheffield

Boxed with the rest of your order. Sheffield is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Pallets left on a pavement can block the footway, so plan a drop point inside your boundary where you can.
• If neighbours share the access, it helps to let them know a lorry is coming.
• In summer Sheffield gets around 17h 01m of daylight, but early deliveries still beat the traffic and give the longest working day.

A quick quantity check

Sealing round 6 windows of about 1.2 × 1.2 m is roughly 28.8 m of joint. A 310 ml cartridge runs about 3 m of a 10 × 10 mm bead, so allow 10 cartridges of frame sealant.

Things to check before you order

Ventilation

Some adhesives and foams give off fumes while curing; use them in a ventilated space.

Fire-stopping

Ordinary foam is not a fire stop. Where a fire seal is required use a tested fire-rated product and install it as tested.
