Getting the right adhesives and sealants

Which sealant where?

Use sanitary silicone in wet areas, low-modulus sealant around frames that move, and paintable caulk on trims to be decorated.

Fire-stopping

Ordinary foam is not a fire stop. Where a fire seal is required use a tested fire-rated product and install it as tested.

Before your Northampton delivery arrives

Boxed with the rest of your order. Northampton is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• For a phased build we can split the order so materials arrive as each stage starts, which keeps the site clear.
• Give us the full postcode for the drop point; deliveries around NN1 are priced to the exact address.
• In summer Northampton gets around 16h 47m of daylight, but early deliveries still beat the traffic and give the longest working day.
