Adhesives, Sealants & Foam: choosing well

Fire-stopping

Ordinary foam is not a fire stop. Where a fire seal is required use a tested fire-rated product and install it as tested.

Ventilation

Some adhesives and foams give off fumes while curing; use them in a ventilated space.

Delivery to Neath: what helps

Boxed with the rest of your order. Neath is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Clear a level area for pallets, ideally on boards, so materials stay out of standing water.
• With roughly 7h 48m of daylight in Neath around the shortest day, morning deliveries leave more working light for the job.
• Mention any overhead cables, low branches or narrow gateways, because they decide whether a crane offload is possible.
