Delivery to Darwen: what helps

Boxed with the rest of your order. Darwen is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• In summer Darwen gets around 17h 05m of daylight, but early deliveries still beat the traffic and give the longest working day.
• Mention any overhead cables, low branches or narrow gateways, because they decide whether a crane offload is possible.
• On busy streets in Darwen, a parking suspension or a quiet time slot can make offloading safer, so tell us about local restrictions you know of.

Choosing adhesives and sealants

Fire-stopping

Ordinary foam is not a fire stop. Where a fire seal is required use a tested fire-rated product and install it as tested.

Ventilation

Some adhesives and foams give off fumes while curing; use them in a ventilated space.

Estimating your adhesives and sealants

Sealing round 3 windows of about 1.2 × 1.2 m is roughly 14.4 m of joint. A 310 ml cartridge runs about 3 m of a 10 × 10 mm bead, so allow 5 cartridges of frame sealant.
