Boxed with the rest of your order. Aberdare is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• If neighbours share the access, it helps to let them know a lorry is coming.

• Give us the full postcode for the drop point; deliveries around CF44 are priced to the exact address.

Working out quantities for your Aberdare job

Sealing round 8 windows of about 1.2 × 1.2 m is roughly 38.4 m of joint. A 310 ml cartridge runs about 3 m of a 10 × 10 mm bead, so allow 13 cartridges of frame sealant.

Picking the right product

Ventilation

Some adhesives and foams give off fumes while curing; use them in a ventilated space.

Fire-stopping

Ordinary foam is not a fire stop. Where a fire seal is required use a tested fire-rated product and install it as tested.

Your questions answered

How soon can adhesives and sealants be delivered in Aberdare?

We confirm the delivery date when we price your order, before you commit. It depends on the product, the quantity and whether it is a stock line or made to order.

What is grab adhesive used for?

Fixing skirting, trims, boards and other items without mechanical fixings, where the surfaces suit.

Can I paint over silicone?

Generally no. Use a paintable decorators' caulk if the joint will be painted.

Can I add other materials to my Aberdare delivery?

Yes. Put everything on one list, from adhesives and sealants to fixings and PPE, and we will price it as one delivery where the products can travel together.
