Roofing Materials delivered to Brighouse

Roofing materials are the tiles or slates, battens, underlay membranes and fixings that make up a pitched roof covering, plus the flat-roof materials for smaller roofs.

We deliver roofing materials to sites, driveways and yards across Brighouse, from a single pallet for a small job to full loads for bigger builds.

Choosing from our roofing materials range

  • Ridge, hip and verge systemsDry-fix and mortar-bedded options, with vents and fixings.
  • Natural and fibre-cement slatesSlate for new roofs and repairs, with hooks or nails.
  • Clay tilesPlain and pantile clay tiles for traditional roofs and matching.
  • Flat roof materialsFelt, EPDM and GRP systems for porches, garages and dormers.
  • Concrete interlocking tilesEconomical tiles in many profiles and colours; low pitches possible with some profiles.

How much will you need?

A 42 m² roof slope needs roughly 420 large-format interlocking tiles, or about 2,520 small plain tiles, before ridge, hip and verge pieces. The exact count comes from the tile's gauge, so send us the roof measurements and pitch and we will work it out with the battens and membrane.

Things to check before you order

Matching an existing roof

The profile, size and colour all matter. A photo of the tile and a measurement of its exposed face help us find the closest current product.

Check the minimum pitch

Every tile and slate has a minimum rafter pitch set by the manufacturer. A shallow extension roof may rule some tiles out.

In England, building work is checked against the Approved Documents, for example Part A for structure and Part L for energy efficiency, through your council's building control team or a registered building control approver.

Before your Brighouse delivery arrives

Tiles and slates arrive palletised and are usually crane-offloaded where access allows; battens and membrane rolls travel with them. Brighouse is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

  • Keep cement, plaster and boards dry: have a tarpaulin or a garage space ready before they arrive.
  • Have someone on site for the delivery if you can, or agree a safe drop point with us in advance.
  • If the site is up a shared drive or behind other houses, tell us the distance from the road.

Roofing Materials in Brighouse: questions

Is there a minimum order for delivery to Brighouse?

There is no fixed minimum. For very small orders we will tell you honestly if the delivery cost outweighs the materials, so you can decide.

What battens should I use?

Roofing battens graded for roofing work, of the size the tile maker and BS 5534 call for, normally treated.

Do you supply flat roof materials?

Yes, felt, EPDM rubber and GRP fibreglass systems for smaller roofs. Tell us the roof size and what is underneath.

Can I add other materials to my Brighouse delivery?

Yes. Put everything on one list, from roofing materials to fixings and PPE, and we will price it as one delivery where the products can travel together.
