Thickness for floors

18 mm or more is common for floors on joists at 400 mm centres; follow your design.

Planning the drop in King's Lynn

Sheets travel flat on the lorry bed and are hand-offloaded or crane-lifted in packs. King's Lynn is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• For a phased build we can split the order so materials arrive as each stage starts, which keeps the site clear.
• Pallets left on a pavement can block the footway, so plan a drop point inside your boundary where you can.
• Keep cement, plaster and boards dry: have a tarpaulin or a garage space ready before they arrive.

Plywood in King's Lynn: questions

How soon can plywood be delivered in King's Lynn?

We confirm the delivery date when we price your order, before you commit. It depends on the product, the quantity and whether it is a stock line or made to order.

Is shuttering ply suitable for building?

It is made for concrete formwork, not for permanent structural decks. Use structural ply for roofs and floors.

What size is a sheet of plywood?

The standard sheet is 2440 × 1220 mm, also known as 8 × 4 feet.

Can I add other materials to my King's Lynn delivery?

Yes. Put everything on one list, from plywood to fixings and PPE, and we will price it as one delivery where the products can travel together.
