Delivery to Formby: what helps

Sheets travel flat on the lorry bed and are hand-offloaded or crane-lifted in packs. Formby is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Have someone on site for the delivery if you can, or agree a safe drop point with us in advance.
• For a phased build we can split the order so materials arrive as each stage starts, which keeps the site clear.
• If the site is up a shared drive or behind other houses, tell us the distance from the road.

Estimating your plywood

Decking 30 m² with 2440 × 1220 mm sheets takes 12 sheets including 10% for cutting.

Picking the right product

Interior or exterior?

BS EN 636 classes plywood as class 1 (dry), class 2 (humid) or class 3 (exterior). Use class 3 for anything exposed to the weather.

Thickness for floors

18 mm or more is common for floors on joists at 400 mm centres; follow your design.
