Fresh stock matters

Old plaster sets fast and unevenly. Order it close to when you need it and keep bags dry.

Delivery to Acton: what helps

Bags come on a pallet or with a mixed load; keep them dry and off the floor. Acton is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• For a phased build we can split the order so materials arrive as each stage starts, which keeps the site clear.
• Weight limits on bridges or private roads near the site matter for larger lorries, so mention any you know of.
• Mention any overhead cables, low branches or narrow gateways, because they decide whether a crane offload is possible.

Sizing your order

Skimming 15 m² of walls and ceilings at about 2 mm takes around 2 bags of 25 kg finishing plaster, plus angle beads for external corners. Coverage varies with the background, so allow a spare bag.
