Finished timber is protected and handled with care; tell us if it needs to go inside out of the weather. Willenhall is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• In summer Willenhall gets around 16h 51m of daylight, but early deliveries still beat the traffic and give the longest working day.
• Mention any overhead cables, low branches or narrow gateways, because they decide whether a crane offload is possible.
• Pallets left on a pavement can block the footway, so plan a drop point inside your boundary where you can.

Matching old profiles

Bring an offcut or a clear profile photo with measurements and we will look for the closest current profile.

Softwood or MDF trim?

MDF skirting and architrave is very straight and paints well; softwood takes knocks better and can be stained.

Estimating your planed timber

A 4.2 × 4.6 m room with one door has about 16.8 m of wall to skirt. With 10% for joints and offcuts that is 18.5 m, or 5 lengths of 4.2 m skirting, plus architrave for each side of the door.

Questions about planed timber delivery in Willenhall

Can you match an old skirting profile?

We can look for the closest current profile. Exact matches for old or bespoke profiles may need machining to order.

Do you deliver planed timber to Willenhall?

Yes. We deliver across Willenhall, including WV14, WV11, WV13, WV12. Willenhall is inside our standard mainland delivery area. Send your list or call 0800 088 6341 and we will price it delivered to your postcode.

Why is my 2 × 4 smaller than 2 × 4 inches?

Timber is often named by its sawn size before planing. Once planed, it finishes smaller, so a nominal 2 × 4 is roughly 44 × 94 mm or less.

Is there a minimum order for delivery to Willenhall?

There is no fixed minimum. For very small orders we will tell you honestly if the delivery cost outweighs the materials, so you can decide.
