Choosing planed timber

Softwood or MDF trim?

MDF skirting and architrave is very straight and paints well; softwood takes knocks better and can be stained.

Bring an offcut or a clear profile photo with measurements and we will look for the closest current profile.

Planning the drop in Totton

Finished timber is protected and handled with care; tell us if it needs to go inside out of the weather. Totton is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Give us the full postcode for the drop point; deliveries around SO40 are priced to the exact address.
• Pallets left on a pavement can block the footway, so plan a drop point inside your boundary where you can.
• Mention any overhead cables, low branches or narrow gateways, because they decide whether a crane offload is possible.
