How delivery works in Middleton

Finished timber is protected and handled with care; tell us if it needs to go inside out of the weather. Middleton is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Give us the full postcode for the drop point; deliveries around M24 are priced to the exact address.
• In summer Middleton gets around 17h 03m of daylight, but early deliveries still beat the traffic and give the longest working day.
• Have someone on site for the delivery if you can, or agree a safe drop point with us in advance.

Picking the right product

Softwood or MDF trim?

MDF skirting and architrave is very straight and paints well; softwood takes knocks better and can be stained.

Nominal versus finished size

Planing takes material off, so a timber sold as 'nominal' 2 × 4 finishes smaller. Always check finished sizes when you need an exact fit.
