Before your Bath delivery arrives

Finished timber is protected and handled with care; tell us if it needs to go inside out of the weather. Bath is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Deliveries are to the kerb, drive or within crane reach; ask if materials need to go further.
• Weight limits on bridges or private roads near the site matter for larger lorries, so mention any you know of.
• In summer Bath gets around 16h 37m of daylight, but early deliveries still beat the traffic and give the longest working day.

Planed Timber & Mouldings: choosing well

Nominal versus finished size

Planing takes material off, so a timber sold as 'nominal' 2 × 4 finishes smaller. Always check finished sizes when you need an exact fit.

Matching old profiles

Bring an offcut or a clear profile photo with measurements and we will look for the closest current profile.
