Things to check before you order

OSB or plywood?

OSB3 is usually cheaper and fine for most structural decking in humid conditions. Plywood is stiffer, takes fixings near edges better and performs better where it may get wet.

Cutting MDF safely

MDF dust is fine; cut with extraction and wear suitable respiratory protection.

Delivering OSB, MDF and chipboard in Weymouth

Sheets come in packs on the lorry bed, crane-lifted or hand-offloaded. Weymouth is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Tell us the best drop point, such as a driveway, front garden or the kerb, and whether a lorry can park close to it.
• Pallets left on a pavement can block the footway, so plan a drop point inside your boundary where you can.
• Weight limits on bridges or private roads near the site matter for larger lorries, so mention any you know of.

Sizing your order

Decking 36 m² with 2440 × 1220 mm sheets takes 14 sheets including 10% for cutting. In P5 chipboard flooring (2400 × 600 mm) the same floor takes 28 boards.

Can I add other materials to my Weymouth delivery?

Yes. Put everything on one list, from OSB, MDF and chipboard to fixings and PPE, and we will price it as one delivery where the products can travel together.

Do you deliver OSB, MDF and chipboard to trades and homeowners in Weymouth?

Both. Trades can apply for a trade account; homeowners and self-builders can order on a delivered quote.

What size are flooring boards?
