Before your Redruth delivery arrives

Sheets come in packs on the lorry bed, crane-lifted or hand-offloaded. Redruth is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• If neighbours share the access, it helps to let them know a lorry is coming.
• Clear a level area for pallets, ideally on boards, so materials stay out of standing water.
• With roughly 8h 02m of daylight in Redruth around the shortest day, morning deliveries leave more working light for the job.

OSB, MDF & Chipboard: choosing well

OSB or plywood?

OSB3 is usually cheaper and fine for most structural decking in humid conditions. Plywood is stiffer, takes fixings near edges better and performs better where it may get wet.

Cutting MDF safely

MDF dust is fine; cut with extraction and wear suitable respiratory protection.
