OSB or plywood?

OSB3 is usually cheaper and fine for most structural decking in humid conditions. Plywood is stiffer, takes fixings near edges better and performs better where it may get wet.

Cutting MDF safely

MDF dust is fine; cut with extraction and wear suitable respiratory protection.

Before your Inverurie delivery arrives

Sheets come in packs on the lorry bed, crane-lifted or hand-offloaded. Inverurie is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• In summer Inverurie gets around 17h 58m of daylight, but early deliveries still beat the traffic and give the longest working day.
• For a phased build we can split the order so materials arrive as each stage starts, which keeps the site clear.
• Weight limits on bridges or private roads near the site matter for larger lorries, so mention any you know of.
