Getting cement onto your Hyde site

Bags come on a shrink-wrapped pallet or as part of a mixed load; keep them covered once dropped. Hyde is inside our standard mainland delivery area.

• Have someone on site for the delivery if you can, or agree a safe drop point with us in advance.
• In summer Hyde gets around 17h 02m of daylight, but early deliveries still beat the traffic and give the longest working day.
• Weight limits on bridges or private roads near the site matter for larger lorries, so mention any you know of.

Things to check before you order

How much cement do I need?

Work from the mix: a 1:4 mortar or a 1:5 concrete mix tells you the share of cement. Our calculators turn wall or slab sizes into bags.

Working in cold weather

Mortar and concrete should not be laid when temperatures are near freezing. Protect fresh work from frost.

Sizing your order
