Delivery to Cornwall: what helps

Bulk bags are usually crane-lifted onto a drive or kerb where the vehicle and access allow; small bags travel with a mixed load. Our standard mainland delivery area covers Cornwall.

  • Clear a level area for pallets, ideally on boards, so materials stay out of standing water.
  • Weight limits on bridges or private roads near the site matter for larger lorries, so mention any you know of.
  • If the drop point is block paving or soft ground, say so; heavy pallets and bulk bags can mark or sink.

Before you order sand

Covering bulk bags

Cover bags to stop sand drying out or getting saturated, and keep it clean of debris.

Soft or sharp?

Use soft building sand for mortar because it gives a smooth, sticky mix. Use sharp sand where strength and drainage matter: screeds, concrete and paving beds.
